Let's get this straight, Joe, the unlicensed plumber who owes state taxes is now the savior because Obama told him he wanted to "distribute the wealth."?? I don't get it! Here are two REPUBLICANS who enacted "SPREAD THE WEALTH" tax plans -- Teddy Roosevelt and his Progressive Tax Plan, which taxed the wealthy at a higher rate so thos below would benefit and RONALD F-ING REAGAN -- King of the Deficit -- who's Earned Income Tax Credit does the same f-ing thing.

Bottom line, you can put a dress on a pig and it's still a Palin -- oops, did I just say that? I meant to say, the "Stickiness" behind Joe is like the stickiness on one of those rubber octopuses you threw on the wall when you were a kid. Joe The Tax Evader

When I first saw what seemed to be a very contrived/deliberate use by McCain of this "average Joe" and how he used it as a focal point/relatable character in his "debate", I thought -- this guy was a McCain set-up. Now we find out that "Joe," who is so worried about his precious money being paid in the form of taxes (if he's making over $250K/year, he's doing all right) is actually a big greedy slug because he is behind $1200 in state taxes in Ohio and has a lien on his property. This is no "average Joe" -- an average Joe pays his taxes. Also, it is patriotic to pay your taxes -- like Thomas Friedman says, your taxes pay for our troops abroad, pay for education of our children (not necessarily our bad infrastructure though) -- I'm tired of all the emotional politics about taxation. It's a bunch of bunk -- pay the damn taxes Joe! This guy should be called Joe The Tax-Evader
